345# Deadlift & 8 Strict Ring Dips (w/Band)

Today was a good day, this time last year I deadlifted 335#. I remember it being a bit of a grind and leaving me with back pain for several days. Today I hit a 1 rep max of 345# and it felt stupid easy!! I was afraid to continue on to 365# because I’m a little afraid of the grind as well as possibly failing (so petty). No pain in my lower back after which is a massive bonus!!  

 This is me back in August 2014 @ 335#

Sooooo…. I did a WOD right after which included deadlifts and ring dips, totally failed at ring dips. I really beat myself up after because I’ve been really working on them. I feel like I’m hitting a brick wall of lactic with anything over 8 reps. 

Just gotta keep working at it. No excuses.
